Shaped experiences

Prone
To what we might want.
We want the same
In years’ gone
Than in years to be
Told,
Not yet on our own
History’s hold.
We want the same
While getting more
Of what we believe is
What will make us strong.
We want more
Of something unknown
We want to have
As part of our own,
For no reason, we owe;
Yet we believe, we want.
We want to believe
That we would live
In great form,
In better health, spirit,
Wealth, and all
That is to wish for,
Why not!
We then stop and think:
‘All we need is love’
And we want to believe
This is what we will always get
In all forms:
What our future holds.
We want love,
For all we need
Is to feel warm,
Belonged,
Cared for,
Grateful to,
Wanted by,
Given through.
Giving souls
We want to be
Seen by all
We care for.
All we want is what we need:
‘All we need is love’.

We wish in All.
